i wish..

i wish i had more time for myself. i never realized how hard it would be to get things done with an infant. half the time, one of us can do something and the other one is taking care of our daughter. the weekends go by and i feel so unproductive. :(

only thing we got done was putting stuff away in the office and re-arranging the desk. didn't pull in anything from the garage. didn't mow. didn't clean the rest of the house. still have yet to hang the curtains i hemmed last week. i did 6 loads of laundry yesterday, but one load is still in the dryer and our hanging clothes and whites are still in the laundry room needing put away.

friday night i was able to bust out a few handmade cards after i put lexi to bed. i miss scrapping. i wish i had more time for it. i also wish i had more money to buy some of the items i want!! i have quite a few scrapping blogs on my reader and they make me so jealous!!

anyone have suggestions for how to get things done?? i know a lot of the problem is that we have a brand new house and i wasn't able to do a whole lot to it until after i gave birth because i couldn't move! so much to do...so little time...

oh...and did i mention we're getting flagstone delivered today to start our walkway out front??? (and yes, we're doing this ourselves...) something's wrong with us....

When you find out, let me know! I don't know how people do it. And we just have one kid. Can you imagine when there are more?

maybe it gets easier with more because you can have the older one look after the younger one? i dunno. thankfully, it's going to be a few years until #2 comes around. maybe by then we'll have our act together?? LOL

I haven't a clue. Even the perfectionist in me has had to bend a little on cleaning and getting so much stuff done in a short amount of time. And I don't even have kids yet! I guess the only advice I can give is to set longer deadlines to get some of the things done. Like that walkway that doesn't *have* to go in right away:).

I cannot believe how big that darling little girl is getting. I just wanna squeeze her.

You just figure out how to do it all. I was a single Mom so it was twice as hard because I had nobody to help me.

You'll figure it all out, babe!!!!
