I've recently joined a new group through the forum at PaperTrey Ink. There's 15 of us and we're all lovers of PTI! We started the group to mainly challenge one another and to get new ideas and give and get feedback! Our blog is called Papertrey PALs and we have our first challenge posted. You're more than welcome to play along with us!
Our first challenge, is hosted by Ted. He wants us to do a card, project, layout, etc that incorporates PAL in some way. I took the easy way out and did a card!
Unfortunately, I have no stamps that say PAL on them, so I had to improvise! I wound up doing a definition of sorts. The part of "an accomplice" cracks me up! Especially when I think who this is going to! :)
I decided I wanted to play around with some backgrounds and used one of the small stamps from Vintage Labels in Pure Poppy on Pure Poppy cardstock. The red large polka dots come from Polka Dot Basics and are stamped in Pure Poppy on Rustic Cream Cardstock.
Since the outside was so festive, I figured I needed to bring it to the inside and did a strip of Dark Chocolate Satin Dots ribbon and finished it off with a sentiment.
Thanks Ted for a great challenge (and a challenge it was!)! Our next challenge will be posted February 7th, join us!

Liz, I love this card! I think what I mostly like about it is the "askew" polka-dotted cards behind the focal "Pal" definition card. That gives it a playful feel that goes really well with "accomplice" LOL! And the chocolate and poppy combination is awesome. Thanks for taking the PALLENGE! ;)
Liz, I really, really like your color combination of the brown and the pure poppy!!! Really cute card, I'm sure the recipient will be thrilled. I really have got to get to work on mine! Thanks for the motivation.
Great job Girl!!! Love it...... love it all!!!
Liz, I too love the color combination! I never would have put those two together. I am going to have use that for my dh Valentine's card. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hey Liz great job on the card & challenge! Love the colors you used and how you took the smaller stamps to make your background. Good reminder that I don't need to have those background stamps to make my own!
This turned out super, Liz. I love the red and brown together. Way to decorate the inside - it looks awesome!
