If you're my facebook friend, I apologize for you seeing these pics again :) But, I'm so proud of myself. I was at my friend's house on Monday and took my sewing machine. She showed myself (and another friend) how to make capris with ruffles on the bottom. I used a pattern for the first time and was actually able to line everything up and sew it.
Are they not adorable?!?! I'm estactic that they actually fit Lexi. They'd be much better if she would decide it's time to be potty trained and could wear big girl undies and not a diaper!
Sorry for the poor quality..these are from my phone :) She absolutely loves her new pants, so that made me happy!

LOVE! I got a sewing machine for Xmas.... 2 years ago... and it is still in the box. I keep meaning to break it out and sew something for M. you may have inspired me :)

They turned out so great and they really fit her perfectly! You are so lucky to have a friend who can walk you through it and teach you things. I've just started taking some sewing classes, and am learning how fun it can be to sew and make things!
