I'm on a roll! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I was able to get quite a bit of time downstairs stamping and searching for different ideas for cards. If only I could do so well with exercising and eating as I do with this....

Anyway, this card uses Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #97. Yet another one that I probably would've passed up before. But, I realized that you don't HAVE to have that circle in the can veer from it and do what you want. I think that's held me back a lot. Because most of the challenges I see, many of the cards are using nestabilities (die cutting machines) or the like to cut and emboss and since I don't have one, I don't think mine will come out as good. Another one of the many reasons why I am pushing myself!

I always need masculine cards and this seemed like the perfect sketch. Fairly simple, not a lot of extras needed. I pulled out my stash of scraps and was able to find some Basic Grey papers in there. Instead of the circle, I stamped PTI Star Prints on Scarlett Jewel, Aqua Mist and Spring Moss and adhered them to the card. The sentiment seems to be a great one as it could go for basically anything, although, I'll probably use it as a birthday card.

Have a happy Monday and I hope all of you are striving towards those goals you set for yourself less than 2 weeks ago! Keep up the good work if you are and Get Going! if you're slacking! :)

Supplies used:
Paper - PTI Kraft, Spring Moss, Scarlet Jewel, Aqua Mist; Basic Grey Lime Rickey
Ink - Spring Moss, Scarlet Jewel, Aqua Mist
Stamps - Star Prints
Other - Fiskars XL Star punch

Super cute card! Love that you turned the circle into stars, and made the sketch work for you! Great job with TES97!
